Lunch in the lych gate followed by a quick visit to the church and then playground before heading west across fields and under the motorway. Southwest along the Itchen and then north across the river by the mill and then across the water meadows via various bridges. West along paths and across the road to the trig and church. Retraced steps as far as the mill and then southeast under the motorway before following paths east to the road and back to the car
